April has been a very busy month and I have really appreciated my favorites this month. Most of these are lifestyle- and planning-related and I have really come to rely on them to keep me motivated, encouraged, and trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am happy to share them with you today and hope that, likewise, you will share in the comment some of your favorites from April as well. So, here we go:

“The Lazy Genius Way: Embrace What Matters, Ditch What Doesn’t, and Get Stuff Done” by Kendra Adachi
I am absolutely head over heels in love with the book, “The Lazy Genius Way: Embrace What Matters, Ditch What Doesn’t, and Get Stuff Done” by Kendra Adachi. I have never related more to a book in my life. I love everything she offers in this insightful book on naming what matters to you and then following her 13 principles of doing anything and everything. This book breathes life into me as it not only provides practical tips but it’s also a book about what matters to you and how to tackle those important things. For someone who has followed the Cultivate What Matters principle for a few years, this is right in my wheelhouse. If you haven’t read this book you should definitely try it it is so insightful and she has such a sweet easy style of writing. I highly recommend it.

Lazy Genius Podcast
In addition to the Lazy Genius book I highly recommend Kendra’s podcast. These episodes keep me motivated, encouraged and I think they are helpful for anyone who is leading a busy life and trying to maintain their priorities and not be overwhelmed by everything else. When it comes to life hacks, this is the way to find peace in the crazy. I will specifically recommend Episode 200 as it covers many different topics and it will give you a great start into what she offers on this podcast.

Cultivate What Matters PowerSheets
If you’ve been following me for any time at all this will not be the first time I’ve mentioned my PowerSheets. My PowerSheets® is my goal system and I love them. I have already entered things for May, June and July. They help me to set and reach my goals by cultivating what matters and, again, letting go of what doesn’t.

Pentel EnerGel Pens
You might say I have an abundance of journals and pens of all types. I am a little bit of a stationary nerd. I’ll absolutely love how the Pentel EnerGel pens write. I have them in black, blue, purple, red and I use them all the time. The color of the ink in this particular blue pen is the prettiest blue I have seen. They are my favorite go-to pens. Give them a try.

Primally Pure Cleansing Oil
I have very sensitive skin. In addition to that I am allergic to fragrance. There are so many ingredients in most facial products, and often including fragrance, that I cannot use them on my face. Still, I need a daily regimen of cleaning my face before I go to bed. I have found the Primally Pure Cleansing Oil method to be perfect for my skin. This Oil Cleansing Method utilizes skin-loving oils that penetrate deep into my pores to dissolve grime and build-up while keeping the skin’s natural moisture barrier in-tact and promoting more balanced oil production. I have been using this for about a year now and I highly recommend it.
That’s my favorites for April. Did any one of these spark your fancy? I hope you will give one or more of them a try. I think they would be a great addition to anyone’s life especially busy moms trying to do it all and live a healthy lifestyle. Have a great May and I look forward to sharing next month’s favorites then. Until next time…
