Busy days at the parks lend a great deal to the ease and convenience of quick-service dining. We just stop when we get hungry and have a break. As you might guess, we do have our favorites at each park. However, we now have a new favorite at EPCOT: Connections Eatery.
We found Connections Eatery to be a welcome change from the traditional quick-service options. Everything was fresh and cooked properly and we really enjoyed the experience. A new addition to EPCOT, Connections Eatery just opened this year. For us it is a welcome change, as we found the food to be both reasonably-priced and delicious!
Here is the list of what we ordered:
French Bistro Burger – $12.99
Gourmet Beef Blend, Caramelized Onions, Bacon, Brie, Mushrooms, Dijon Mayonnaise, Toasted Brioche Bun
My hubby said this burger was full of flavor. He actually said, ”a lot goin’ on!!” and he is quite a critic of park food. In fact, he said it was one of the best burgers he has had, whether at home or on vacation.
General Tso Chicken Salad – $11.49
Petite Kale Blend, Broccoli Slaw, Red Bell Pepper, Mandarin Oranges, Edamame, Crispy Wontons, Warm Fried Chicken, General Tso’s Dressing
This was my lunch selection. I had the hardest time making a decision when browsing the menu as there are many great choices, but I was so glad I selected this one. This salad has a wonderful combination of flavors and it is fresh and delicious! I am going to need to learn to recreate this at home.
Kids Chicken Strips – $7.99
Fried chicken strips served with a choice of two Sides and choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small DASANI® Bottled Water
Both girls ordered these strips with fries and oranges. They commented right away. The chicken strips are plump and delicious. They also loved the fries.
Another big plus about Connections Eatery is that it is one of the few quick-service locations in the parks that offers refill stations for your drinks. That is definitely a bonus on a hot summer day, or any time for that matter.
We all left very satisfied and impressed by Connections Eatery. I highly recommend that you try it during your next visit to EPCOT.
